ABOUT ME

My philosophy and how I got here

My Work is at the Intersection of Mindfulness, Consent, Embodiment, and Sexuality

As a somatic coach and facilitator, I guide you in bringing awareness to what you want in your life and to communicate those desires.

I’ve been working in this space since 2016 and I’ve had the opportunity to guide hundreds of people through a process of self-discovery in workshops, private sessions, and at Tantra and sexuality festivals across Europe and Australia.

I’m grateful for the influence of my teachers — sensual embodiment leaders Regena Thomashauer, creator of The School of Womanly Arts, and Sheila Kelley, creator of S Factor, as well as the Grand Dame of Consent and creator of the Wheel of Consent, Dr. Betty Martin.

How I Got Here

I spent more than 15 years working in leadership development in the environmental sector. In 2012, I was diagnosed with cancer. Forced to slow down, I realized that I’d been so focused on taking care of others, I had lost my ability to express my own needs and desires. I didn’t even know I had needs and desires.

Desire became my guide on my healing journey.

As a former Mormon, I had a big learning curve. What did I want? What lit me up? What brought me joy? As I explored this, I started to see the necessity — and the healing power — of connecting to joy and pleasure.

Researching pleasure changed my life. I began to dream bigger, and to live out my desires and my vision. I learned to love being alive, with all its ups and downs.

This is why I feel so passionate about helping others find pleasure — in their bodies, and in their lives.

  • “I was super nervous attending my first workshop with Robyn, but slowly grew more comfortable, and even came back for more. How Robyn leads a class is exceptional. She gives a lot of allowance for choice and agency to partake of what feels right. She advocates for listening inside and beginning to make small choices more aligned with what we really want. She creates a safe container to experiment with new choices and lean into edges as we feel able to. She also provides a lot of really good content for your mind to chew on, besides being fun. I walked away with better ability to say no or yes when I mean it, and to ask for what I want or communicate where I'm at. I definitely recommend!”

  • “I sought Robyn out to help my kids and I work through some familial trauma several years ago. She expertly guided me and my young children through a number of somatic release activities over a series of sessions. She helped us work through parts of our difficult past, and also gave us strategies for re-regulating our nervous systems that we continue to use today.”

  • “Robyn is a consummate professional. Her consistency and integrity in workshops has made a profound difference in my capacity to learn over time what I have needed to learn — both from her and the Wheel of Consent.”
